Seeing Is Believing Poem by Leanna Page Markgraf

Seeing Is Believing

Rating: 5.0

I should have not listened,
or be fooled by your touch.
I never thought taking a risk
would ever hurt this much.

I would give you the world in seconds,
you meant so much to me.
How easily I was tricked though,
I was too blind to see.

You played your game well
was it even hard to pretend?
Did you enjoy torturing me
right up to the very end?

I hope you are proud
of every lie you told.
I believed them all,
your hand I was eager to hold.

I did not know you could be so cruel
or be so heartless.
Seeing is believing,
you left my heart a mess.
