xI wonder who you are, Elena S. You are quite perspicacious; you really read and understand my poems. // Sometimes my poetry takes a bit of dip in the dark side of reality. Some of your poems go for a swim. I wish I knew more about you. Your mysterious and eerie little clown face and your name- I have those. And perhaps a few clues from poems, though I will know that some poems are only the snapshot feelings of a moment, and cannot give a true full view of the author. You intrique me, Elena S. // This poem here is scary to me in some ways. It is certainly grim. I don't have to guess under whose feet. I know. And even if you deny it, I know still. You are speaking of God. Is God a heavenly father, who is he a jack-booted thug of a god, trampling us under foot? As one who is getting way too close for comfort to being so trampled, that is a serious question for me. You might say it is a grave question for me. ;) I wonder if it is possible for God to be both of these, at different times, for different people, and for different reasons. // In the meantime, humankind has humankind to deal with. Our own country in less than twenty years will be a National Security State with almost no freedoms, deffinite rights, or privacy- it the strong trends I see continue. Additionally, we will become a nation of a relatively few powerful super-wealthy plutocrats on top, below which be many millions of peasants, peons, and vassels (not to mention slaves) . I am very sad to see what the world will likely become. But, as bad as it might become, I wouldn't mind still living in it, considering the alternative. // You intrigue me, Elena S. I find your mind peculiar and special and beautiful. // Good poem here. It really made me feel and think. // Bye now. - Michael
