I am really taken by the effortless logic and flow of this poem. It teaches such a good lesson. I'm 67 and I can practice living according to this rubric. But I wish I had had the first stanza when I was teaching adolescents. It makes a mature approach to life experiences so crystal clear. It could also guide someone writing a short story in creating a fully alive character. I'm going to do just that!
