Seduction Of Chair (Part - Ii)(Satire) Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Seduction Of Chair (Part - Ii)(Satire)

Rating: 5.0

Eastern Devil, Ghoul
That used to preys
On dead bodies
At the very outset
Took over as its head.

Soon thereafter
The Estate itself
Experienced overall
Phenomenal changes
Growth and development
His own vested interest
With cheering upshot
Laid out the establishment
Implementing all plans
And all schemes
That Angel h'd first initiated.
He up kept his promise
As committed with Angel.

In the mean time
Ghoul expelled
Entire existing setup
Brought about
Drastic changes
In administration
For beyond imagination
He censored and oppressed
All the subordinates
Using every tool
To get name and fame
By coercion or otherwise
To establish his governance
Soon turned out to be a tyrant.

Though successful
Some used to call
Yet an alien
In the eyes of all natives
A fastidious person
Blind to applause
Cannibal, with his carnivorous
Inaccessible, when at annihilation
Symbolic of downpour
And heavy wraths.
Used to cage and commanded
Over the wild huge.

Alas! Illiterate
Towards his own fate
The evil days cast down
The snobbish Ghoul's
Energies ran out
Of the ugly wretch.
His dotage full
Of arrogance and conceit.

Abruptly unnoticed
Unseen and unknown
He set out-
On a long journey
In fact, to visit his native land
An Island of rustic people
Just to boast about-
The status he was enjoying.
