Secrets Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Secrets

Run, boy, run.
Gather all our secrets
and flee.
See,
even the dark clouds
are full of tears.
They fall from the sky
as fast as your prayers.
Care not
for your leaving me. ….
I remember our secrets.
You are not gentle
but carry a storm
upon your back.
