Wonderful pen to trust and confidence... touché to you dear poet... and to your honor and resolve I tip my hat and graciously bow.

To me the heart of keeping a secret is honoring the heart, the identity of the teller, and not so much the subject matter which might well serve mankind. Surely all of our secrets if shared with others in a protected fashion (just because they contain sensitive material) are food for thought for all mankind, showing us as they do how all of our feelings bind us together in one humanity. Very nice poem though. I'll be coming back for more. You may just have inspired a new poem in my mind. So thanks for that too!

Each who spoke them trusted me/ Not to ever set them free - It appears that to let loose those secrets is an immoral betrayal trust. So, according to this great poet, one has to Keep them safely, guard like gold/ All those secrets ever told -(told to us) A personifying instruction to the soul and conscience, a witty control to garrulous tongues.
