I say 'wow', you really drew a surprised crowd with this one... It is very complimentary to any friend.... I like it a bunch... Some good work here... Jim Troy
Nice poem! ! ! How true! ! In truth, in my case, I'd list three more items: books, white sheet paper and pencils. I don't have much friends, but we get along very well. However, somehow, I think that I spend more time with my books and all that stuffs that I need to write and also draw.Although, I've been also spending a lot of time in front of my computer, nothing is better than books, pens, white sheets and pencils for me.It's a priceless thing. Thanks God for that one who invented the ink! !
I didn't see the end coming but it was very good, loved it!
Aw, sweet! You could well have titled it also 'Ode to My Pen'....but having given it this title, rather begs the question, for me, of what is the First favourite? (okay, call me slow, but what is it?) I like this one very well! You so well captured the pen's essential usefulness to you and so many poets. Great job!
After reading all your poems I must say-your pen is every bodies friend- great job- please keep at it-a 10 Joe
When I think of writing a poem, I always think of making it intense and fancy. This poem inspires me that stunning poems can also be plain and simple... Thanks Naida!
