As I spring from the community transit
Warm smiles and morning wishes echoing
A deep breath and the view unfolding,
Of winding roads and far off buildings

Feel my heart swell Where sunshine plays hide and seek with wet days I revel this morning, for Iam a girl And I skip in the rain There is the promise of the sun yet to come An important meeting and a presentation. The most exciting stanza in the poem. Thanks for its sharing.10 for it. Subhas

Aloha Seema... The far between 'drawing kolams' and 'ISD calls'... painted prayers and onto subscriber dialing... similar, yet with so much difference... as is from beginning onto end... what a web of living, career and potential future... hard to imagine that this route is not a normal one... IAM happy that you have a moment to develop into phrase these looks in words into you daily thoughts and experiences... all of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Seema, i loved it! I saw myself in those lines, how accurately and wonderfully you have penned every detail. You made me see you, and the nature and your office too... And being far away from your home town creates such a slump sometimes. yet life goes on. Amongst the beauty of describing nature you have very simply and effectively written these lines: Stepping over puddles in my high heel shoes Walking tall, business suit and confidence for makeup On my way to work lugging heavy laptop and notes I LIKED IT..

Thank you Dear Roop Rekha, I am feeling so encouraged and so high..that my silly lines are eliciting reviews and responses from people so far away..I wish I had retained my notes from decades ago both college notes as well as my work travel notes..so many lines were scribbled and then just given away..i did managed to save you few here and there..will add some more.. Best regards seema

Dear Kelly, thank you for your warm and encouraging words. Appreciation is a key motivation that helps the artistic to reveal more of the hidden gems. Actually these are old ones that I had written more than a decade ago during my travels in USA. Conflict of what the world materialism demanded and the heart wanted. Thank you, will upload a few more. Best regards Seema

And yet these verses at the start of a working day Remembering my origins in a far off land Drawing kolams on my Grandma's verandah Her toothless smile and me clad in a saree on my knees Sharing the heart of this stubborn impy girl, who left your shores revealing sentences of your childhood and the days after which formed you and the poetess and that business girl that you have become now. love to read more. pl. write and post. thank you very much. tony
