Seasons Poem by Elisa Negri

Seasons

There are times when we are
like the summer leaves,
enthusiastic, swaying freely,
Cheerful in the summer sun.
There are times when we are
like the autumn leaves,
withered, tired, but still beautiful.
We fall, like everybody else.
There are times when we are
like trees in winter,
we have nothing to offer,
but still thriving despite the cold.
There are times when we are
like the buds of the leaves in spring.
Full of hope, rested and young.
We have another chance to grow up.
We all have our seasons,
But I'll be there every season,
Even if in mine, you won't be there
