And did you wrote this one from personal xp Sandra? .... if that is so, this poem goes on to prove that great poems come when written from heart.. this is beautiful.. with lots of love shan

The seashore is the perfect place to stop, pause, and take stock of our lives. There is nothing more relaxing than the sound of the gulls and the waves and perhaps children playing in the sand. A wonderful poem, Sandra. Loved it! '10! ' Warm Wishes, Marilyn

I am sure that, that time will return when you are no longer alone on a sea shore.

This sea covers three forth of this world space The shore, the bank is that place, a face Which gets its reflection of the past, present and future in a lace It depends whether the reflection is seen at high tide or ebb or in solace Time is a healer, time is a lesson, time is a phrase. A frank sumission of life and its prime lesson Worlds flow like Incessant drops of rain At the end makes a pool of wisdom thought. Good one. enjoyed this read. Thank you.

Sandra, one of the good things of getting older is other things become important and our past aches soften and slowly disappear. I like to walk along the shoreline of life too, the drifting tides make up a life and the pebbles lie so softly in the sand. I thought your poem was very very beautiful. Warm regards Bob

Lovely piece once again. How i love to read free verse, too.It just flow gently from the heart. We have this saying in the bible..to everything turn, turn turn.there is a season turn, turn, turn..a time to heal...now, this seashore was the best place for you to be healed..alone.And i know you are very happy and at peace with yourself.. You did a great job.Love this. Hugs, Meggie

Beautifully written Sandra. You have found your inspiration in the sea with a tide of ebbing and flowing with the life events you have experienced. I love 'I can sit in peace, reminisce about the past, enjoy the cool breeze and the rhythm of the waves lashing the shore alone (and alone standing by itself) works so well. love Karin
