Robert, Thank you for seeing the dark night of the soul and not chastising me for having one. Some feel Christians cannot feel these. Robert, You are welcome and you earned each of my comments.
Whoa! ! ! ! ! Smoky! What a stunningly beautiful thing to say to another poet- -you just gave me a serious jolt of encouragement just when I needed it too! ! !
Rebecca! ! ! ! You light up Poem Hunters with your heart-light and love of poetry- -may you remain a PH as long as there are poets thriving here,
Had to come back and read this wonderful poem again. Very moving.
Kierkegaard (from deep experience) wrote of the dark night of the soul, there seems to be no way around it, only through it, to the other side, where light, one hopes, does reside. Stunningly wonderful poem Susan; very moving, especially for those among us who've experienced such as this... Thank you for sharing it.

I am so glad to read this comment, Khairul, you understand completely where this poem comes from- a very repentant soul... thank you for understanding this. You make a writer feel less alone when you respond this way
'repair my story' - an ardent prayer, soulful and touching! I am touched by the tone of repentence, which is pristine and pure. Such a prayer cannot go unanswered. A pleasure to read and recite, and to realise the course of redemption, when we want a correction in the course of our actions.

Good idea. I think most poems just might be the product of people getting to know themselves deeper and deeper. Thank you, Mahtab, for reading and commenting on my poetry efforts. I am grateful for your decision to use precious time on reading the poems of others.
