Seagulls In Trees Poem by Shaun Cronick

Seagulls In Trees

Sometimes seeking answers I fall onto my knees,
For this constant thought is always on my mind.
How come we never see seagulls in trees?
Perhaps the elusive truth one day I'll find.

It's the riddle of all time,
The mystery of the Universe.
This perpetual pantomime,
For this question is a curse.

But in the meantime, can someone help me please.
How come we never see seagulls in trees?

When they were born they looked forlorn when airborne. The trees laughed and thought them daft. Ever since they avoid all trees.

Thank you Jane. I have another question/riddle for you. You mention trees that laugh. Where can I buy a laughing tree? And thank you for your witty retort. I will always welcome a comment from your good self and I will reply to all your comments and everyone else's. Thank you again Jane.
