As I sit upon the sun terrace,
With the grass, so plush and green,
Looking out towards the seas horizon,
Most of the coastline can be seen.
The shimmering sea is moving,
All different shades of blue,
The sunlight casting shadows.
Upon the sea within my view.
The sea water looks so calm,
Until you look closer to the shore,
Within the rocky bay,
Where people like to go.
Closer to the shore the rolling waves,
Pounding the shoreline above the reef,
Churning water within the rock pools,
Hidden far beneath.
