Gulsher john...most of your write ups are based on greek& roman mythology...my suggestion to you is to stay away from such pagan themes...as you have the quality that whatever you receive as a reader or a listener...you trasform the received information into your own composed poems...n you conceive n compose in your own original style...so this poem carries what you received n not what you think is right...why is there any need to redefine the concept of divinity...? I dont agree...

I found the message slightly elusive when I read it the first time, but rereading it a second and third time I am beginning to see the message that you are crafting, It does create a good debate, religion itself was an entity that provided comfort to people before the age of technological enlightenment and scientific discovery, it helped create social paradigms that are still in place today as our normative behavior. I suggest look at scriptures from the context from when they were written, understand the simple morality they were attempting to explain. Very brave to post this some people will be slightly scared of the ideas you post, but it is worth the read and a need to challenge preconceived notions of destiny.

I don't intend to enter into a debate, but I do strongly believe that there is a master brain behind everything that exists. If there is an effect, there must be a cause. Our universe moves along a perfectly designed course. Nothing so perfectly designed can just come into existence through sheer chance. As Science advances, we come to realize that even those that appear so simple are in fact so complicated! Of course scriptures must have been modified by cultures, but we can never say that scriptures evolved from cultures. With Bright Morn, I too disagree with your thoughts, but do applaud the quality of your poem.

As for as the thought is concerned we can never agree on this i do belive that religions are divine and cultures are effected and even created by them but still its a very different idea to write about this thing. Hmm as a believer i tink religion is frm God, and cultural practises get into it n people practice religion acordin to culture. Hey n d mention of Euphrates adds to d poem's superb literary effort for me as i hav just been there. Pls do coment on my poem too.

Certainly thought-provoking. Religion has provided moral guidance, but it is also responsible for a great deal of strife and dissention.
