Really liked this; proof there is beauty in simplicity and honesty. Totally intimidated by 196 poems in your catalogue!
I imagined an anxious dog or a six year old boy, being able to see out the screen door but not open it without your help. Trapped inside, waiting, but not willing to set forth without you. I enjoyed this very much. Thank you for sharing. Parenthetically, quite different from my poem of the same title.: -)
