School. Poem by Shelby L

School.

A girl in back of the class,
Waiting for the bell to ring.
Listens closely to the girls in front,
They pick on and mess with her,
Each and every day.
So she takes her leave early,
And darts away.
She spoke out once,
To let the teacher know.
She said please,
These kids are great.
Of course there the popular girls,
Everyone takes pride in.
So on her way out,
They grabbed her down.
To the bathroom they want,
To mess around.
They started beating her,
And slapping her in the face.
Then all of a sudden,
A new face appeared.
She looked at the girls,
Beating up the other.
Then saw in her eyes,
The plead for help.
The girls said,
If you speak about this matter,
You will be next.
That girl turned to them and said,
Please like I could be scared of that.
They stepped away from her,
And towards me.
That look in my eyes showed her,
That there was nothing to worry.
One stepped in and punched me in the face,
I laughed and said that was your biggest mistake.
The girls took off with out looking back,
The other girl stepped towards me and helped me up.
From that day forth we were good buds.
She don't go to teachers any more,
For they were no help.
We stick with one another,
To help each other out.
