You are a very good writer, yes you are. I have a son,14 years old now, that I had to seek help for earlier this year for he was cutting himself. He even started destroying things around the home with knives and even tried to stab me once one night. I had to have him evaluated and he was put in an hospital for a week. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I went everyday to see him, and after getting out-I told him I was sorry for what I had to do, but that I loved him. He told me, that Mom you did the right thing and he thanked me. It apparently helped him to see other young ones struggling and going through things in their live and learning that he was not alone. He doesn't hurt himself anymore, and I am glad. He still has problems, but it is the peer pressure and that of trying to fit in. Reach out to someone for help-hurting yourself can lead to other things and I wouldn't want anything to happen to you. So please, get help for the scars. You are a very special person and you deserve to be happy.
