I love your use of repetition particularly in a Christmas poem because that is am aspect of Christmas that adds warmth and memories upon memories to our Christmas celebrations... singing the same carols through the years, cooking the favorite foods for the Christmas gathering... I am glad to see remembrance of our Lord's birth being celebrated every year... thank you for sharing this poem!

i'll have to dig out my x-mas stocking. i think it still has the coal dust in it from last Christmas! maybe i should hang pantyhose this year to double my pleasure! or disappointment. but coal can warm the room! ! i wish Mom was still alive to make me X-mas cookies. i used to help! maybe she would just show up long enough to make a few dozen?
