That person is truly the most fortunate who lives a smiling and cheerful life up to death. No matter how long or short is that span of life.

For few days The garden gave a deserted look But it seem that all the charms, voices of laughter He took along with him. Truly, memories linger in our mind

A very emotional saga of a grown up man who was young at heart, was always smiling and made others smile but when he bid adieu everybody got emotional and felt lonely without him. Great poem.

Hello Geetha.... beautiful written from your heart. How we think that everyone will last forever. People often think how they wish they had....... Yet it is then too late. There will be so many others who will miss this amazing gentleman

Beautifully penned. I love these gentle souls that bring light with them where ever they go and they are sorely missed when they pass.

This happens quite often! Very healthy, though aged, full of cheer, suddenly snatched away by death! I must say he is a very fortunate person! As long as he lived, he lived happy.... Even death was a genial friend to him who came and gave him a ride.... a ride into eternity! A story related in a very realistic way, Geetha!
