It is very sad
Heart breaking to see
Women and children
Holding pots and pans
Walk for miles to fetch
Water from wells and ponds
And dying streams and rivers
In this era
When we are planning
To set up human colonies
In Moon and Mars
Millions are not able
To quench their thirsts
Or falling ill
Drinking dirty water
We too are too lazy
In harvesting rain water
And in saving it for dry seasons
It is very sad that all people in the world do not have access to clean, running water at their fingertips. Let's forget going to the moon and Mars, and concentrate on improving living conditions here on Earth!

The common people work hard to get water. The people who hold power over resource distribution have a lot to answer for.
