A flood did wash some trees away,
And carried them out to the sea.
Afloat in water they did stay,
Wondering what their future be.
As more and more of time did pass,
Hope the trees had began to wane.
Slowly they were dying, alas,
Not much longer could they remain.
Then suddenly came a great whale.
Upon her back she let the trees
Take refuge, and off all did sail
The savior with her refugees.
The whale did carry the trees, and
Gave them safe passage back to land.
