Good humour here, but whilst you think of how, there are some that still wonder if...
Thank you so much, Aniruddha. Yes, there is that chance of paralysis...and the resulting no action...

The Almost Bukowski poet does it again! He takes a very serious subject, adds a dash of humour and great philosophy..and bingo...Masterpiece!
Ha Ha Ha! if George Carlin had gotten into the poetry business he might have wrote something like this (but with added vulgarity) . It seems that since the 20th century we've been obsessed with that question of helping the world, yet for all the brain power we are still messing it up! . Maybe we should just compost. Funny M.J. but there's also a great sadness behind these words. Profound sound pretentious so I will say your well grounded.
Kevin, thank you so much! Yes, Carlin did flash in my mind when I edited this version. I was also listening to Dangerfield. I absolutely agree with you about Carlin. I think if he were still here, he'd tell us to stop helping save things! ! That would actually help! !
Haha both provide compost n be part of compost one day. Beautiful mind and caring heart will bring green thoughts, destructive mind will make selfishness in us turn our body be compost so soon.
Hahaha..thank you, Soul! We just have to be careful about what- what part/s- gets into the compost. Thanks so much.
It is a great philosophical poem with humor about the survival of earth. With sagacity and prudence we have to work lest we become compost. Nice work with lofty theme.10
Rather this way or that. Humour is essential for man but some people would provide compost. Nice poem Mark
Thank you so Muhammad. Yes, irony did cross my mind. Certainly humour over compost!
If we don't make use of our faculties, we degenerate and become compost. If we use them with sagacity and prudence, we provide compost to make the world more fecund where life will flourish with greater vigour! Beautifully and succinctly put! A 10
Sadly, that does seem to be our condition...we must strive, work, endeavour...lest we become the compost. Thank you so much, Valsa.
Instead of becoming compost, we have to provide compost! All are obsessed with the question of saving the Earth! Instead, we should think of saving ourselves. Then only we will be able to save others and the Earth! A serious topic is made light with a dash of humor with utmost brevity! I feel it is the hallmark of the poems of M. J.
Thank you so much, Valsa! These days especially, I think there is great need for a- -any- -dash of humour.
