Saul Poem by Hell 'Farya

Saul

Bask in wealth and desires,
Lies greater than Judas' sin.
Ask Saul where it led him -
Who questioned him, and what did they ask?
An incident he gave his crown for.

Plead for mercy, and they shall hear.
Outrageous statement, worth stumping.
Did you ask Saul what he gained from it?
Who held and tore Samuel's garment?
The king got the curse of his life.

Go after what you love,
But you'll be damned if you overdo.
Tell Saul, in time he was hated.
Who told him relief was with Endor?
Console the rejected king already.

Every tunnel leads to light,
Though many suffocate, knowing the truth.
Let Saul know it will be his end.
Who told him he needed just himself?
The decision that got him killed.
