Thank you 😊, Becca. I am very happy that you liked this episode
Devabrata behaved as all mothers would like their sons to behave- with honor. I am ashamed of Chitrangad but I understand the pain of a brother and mother when he was killed. Hopefully Devabrata keeps his head and honor and grieves for the good his brother had in him [hopefully] and remembers to grieves about the bad his brother had in him. 10+++++++++++++++++++++
In the ancient Bharat, women were respected. That was the culture espoused by the scripts. But, all through, these were many Parasaran, Dusshasan etc. Heard of Dusshasan? He is also a character in the epic, whose lustful eyes were on his brothers' wife.
And thank you for your precious time devoted to reading my poems and commenting. And for all those tens or tons?
Devabatra is an extraordinary character.. Your epics made me a fan of him, the respect toward the women makes him unique and different from other brothers.
Yes, Rini. True. The contrasting characters painted in unique colours make the epic great.
An inspiring character much respected and revered by all Bhishma Pitamah! A full vote!
Thank you Geeta, obliged. I have tried to bring out the development of character of Great Gangadutt from his younger age itself. Nice you enjoyed it.
