Comment by Kumarmani Mahakul Part - 3 - Now the throne is yours I shall run the government As you direct. I will wield Arms to protect her borders. A minister, if you desire The commander, if need be. I shall be the servant of the nation But never shall I breach my oath. Interesting expression. Thanks for sharing.

Kumar Sir, We have seen described in Mahabharat, how Bhisma tried to defend the nation; how he fought the silliest of battles, for the flimsiest of reasons, on the side of Duryodhana. Thus, keeping his word. (... pl see part 2)

Comment by Kumarmani Mahakul Part - 2 - is revealed and this has been portrayed nicely and touchingly by you dear ES. Though Devabrata didn't take the charge yet he honestly said he would run the government as per the the advice and direction of Satyawati. You have hauntingly inscribed this here. I would like to quote some lines....

Part 2: Bhisma did this, although he was with the Pandavas in his heart; he knew well that they were righteous. Still, he did fight for the Kauravas..

In this episode 'Satyawait-16', Devabrata alias Bhisma with the sons of Satyawati completed the funeral rites of Santanu. Satyawati asked Devabrata to take the charge of the nation, governance, as king. But honestly he refused to do so. Here the sacrificeness, nobleness, charitableness, selflessness and ungreedy of Devabrata

Part-2 of comment- As an Arya, you have to make tales from Aryabarta popular among non- Indians. Please be a little elaborative, so that the beginner starts with a fresh interest for reading further. Please be sure that some of your fans like us shall never be bored at its length. You may increase the number of episodes, but not the body of the poems. Not more than 30 lines a poem please. Regards. Subhas

This part of the Story has run in a natural pace with each character paid proper justice. But do you think most of the readers on this site are quite familiar with the great epic? Most of them are yet to know that there was one.(part-1) ....continued- Subhas

Hi Geeta, Thank you for reading through the series and posting yopur observations. your words are my encouragement. Just one opinion from you: Should I post a full narrative of the story for the benefit of the readers who are new to the epic? ?

Thank you Rajnishji.. I hope that you have noticed, I have taken a little freedom in the storey; just filling in the silences left by the Vyasa...
