Sapling Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Sapling

Rating: 5.0

I knew the little sapling,
Gradually it grew up taking all the nutrients from the earth,
Thus it became a big tree,
But one day the greedy men came to cut the tree,
It pleaded me to prevent them,
But I remained helpless,
My heart was bleeding profusely.

But one day the greedy men came to cut the tree, But I remained helpless.... //.... This happens with most of us. We defend ourselves by being helpless. Thanks.
