Couplet-form has always been used for a specific purpose, either for satire or for some serious theme, and here it is aptly used for the centralized personification of the horrid Sandy...really, a poet's eyes see deep always...a great descriptive poem...

Sandy's fury is depicted here in all its intensity! Hearing about it from far and personally experiencing the trauma of it are totally different! Hope it or any similar one would never come to shatter lives any more! A great write! !

We got all the news about Hurricane Sandy here in the UK and saw the havoc that she wreaked. How dreadful an experience it must have been, lets hope she never returns. You have captured the ethos of it all wonderfully here - very well penned.
