There is a subtle sanctuary, a measure of hope, behind the words here, Richard. Despair, displacement, immigration are leaps into the unknown, and are often accompanied by fear. Your message of 'fear not' is likely one that the immigrant rarely, if ever, actually hears. A profound work. There is something about the language that reminds me of Immigrant Blues.
