Salvation's Song Poem by Gary James Smith

Salvation's Song

Salvation's Song

Salvation's song is continually sung
For you can never stop the joy
That emits from a repentant heart
Who has tasted of Heaven's alloy
I'xe been blessed with eternal riches
For Christ now liveth in me
And that same Spirit that raised Him up
Praise God one day will raise me

Salvation's song is continually sung
Forgiveness has that flavour
For being forgiven we now can forgive
Hallelujah what a wonderful Saviour
Who in spite of our sinfulness
Came to rescue us from sin
Alleviating us from a life of darkness
And replacing it with Light within

Salvation's song is continually sung
For He is the soul's Conductor
Who places the music deep within
What an benevolent Benefactor
For love overrides all of earth's ills
And there has never been love as such
Harken to the sound of saints still singing
For they've felt the Master's touch!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
