You have picked up specific example from the Bible to prove that when God touched the most abominable and the most sinful in the eyes of man, they became sparkling diamonds! If He can touch and heal them, definitely God can turn us also into priceless gems if we turn to Him! This rock like faith is what we need to get the blessings of God! The history of some of the Bible's heroes gives each of us confirmation that God can work through the hardest sinner and achieve his aims and to top it off God has promised us salvation from our sins through belief in His promise and His son. A veritable rogue's gallery. It does prove that God can work through sinful man and that sinful man can turn towards God. I have always wondered why Solomon turned away... was it all his wives? was it all the different idols they worshiped? or did he have a degenerative mental illness? No way to know but I understand him the least. Liked this piece. Think I'll read another.
