Salvation Poem by Theresa Short

Salvation

All I've ever known lost in space,
The fact you can't see my face,
You kept me alive for so long,
Now you think it has become wrong,
How dare you give up on me,
Why can't you ever see what has come to be,
I hate what we've become,
Don't you still love me? Even some?
A great question to be asking you,
I now have an illness worse then the flu,
You don't care anymore,
My heart has grown very sore,
Oh god how bad it feels to be me,
Why can't you even see,
What the salvation of life is,
Don't you want to seal us with a kiss?
Or shall you regret later when you miss the only love you could ever hold,
For your heart I stold,
I never gave it back either,
Never will neither,
The salvation left unknown,
The fire and fury I loved you with now stone,
Breakable like glass,
My heart you smashed.
