Salvation Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Salvation

Rating: 5.0

He died and I was reborn
Into this life of scorn
He was a dear and true friend
And now he's gone with the wind
He showered me with friendship
And now like a battleship
Lost in the cold and troubled sea
No longer here to guide me

Good-bye my one friend
You've been a true friend
Thanks for the memory
Of setting me so free
Thanks for your patience
And for your essence

Thank you Dear Lord
For sending Your Son
To take good
Care of me
