Sailed Emotions Poem by Laquory Jones

Verse 1
Tonight, I received some bad news
So I've been trying to listen to some mad tunes
Sometimes I like to get lost in the cartoons
Because I know some people will begin to harp soon
While my tears fall under the Dark Moon
See there's a friend of mine (true)
That's losing her sight (ooh) and though she's putting
Up a fight she's still legally going blind (hmmm)
And their won't be enough light within her eyes
To shine soon so I'm using this poem as her light room (ooh)
So many hours that I've cried (oooh)
So when the heart begins to swell
That's when my emotions begins setting sail

Just to reach the masses on a greater scale

You'll never know what you truly mean to me
Though when it comes to life
There's so many things that we have to see
There's so many things that tends to give me grief
Like when you're in pain seeing you struggle
But I've watched all the things that you
Had overcame but I can't help but to feel kind
Of strange when some things tastes a bit
Like bitter rain because you've overcame
So much but I know that you'll overcome
As you always do as such
Just know I love you twice as much
And I'm truly blessed to have someone like
You in my life not many have treated me
Twice as nice though at times life leaves us
Feeling cold inside we've never left each
Other sides and I'm still by your side
In the wee hours of the night
Your love continues to guide us throughout
The night you're the guiding light
Oh what a sight as your love takes us to
The perfect height of true love

You're the gem inside of my life and I hope that I'm

As it becomes too strong to ignore
We've smiled, Been wild, cried, been nervous,
Been hurt, hid among the surface, seeking for
Our purpose, though at times we've struggled,
yet, we continued learning, while we were yearning,
Clocks continued turning for better tomorrows
Bellowing deep inside of our sorrows,
Though at times I was feeling hallow'
When the pain began to bottle
Leaving me in sorrows as I wallowed
Through all the pain that I had to swallow
You would wipe my tears
Then a smile would then begin to follow
But you never knew it was your smile
That I was made to capture
Now years have passed and I wouldn't recommend
Trading in our friendship I have no regrets
Because the truth is that I've been truly blessed
And make sure that you never forget that
