Sadness Has A Progeny In Poem by james watkin

Sadness Has A Progeny In

Sadness has, for its forebears, in
A boy's and girl's smiles
In what honest is, for Memory
Over his shoulder to see.
Count we all among them, as cant
Be of him disclaimed
By lack of family resemblance.
Facing at a distance.
