Falling in love is easy
Because I was not alone
You taught me how
To fall in love
Is more painful
Than not having you
At all
Breaking up means nothing
Until you realize what you had
Is gone forever
Never to return
And you are all alone
Sometimes you have to lose someone
To miss them badly enough
To feel the painful sadness
Of regret of facing life's challenges
Alone wishing for you to return
And now that you're out my life
I hold on to find memories
Of what our love meant to me
I can only explain the feelings
I had for you in my heart because
All I ever think about is you
'Love is liberating'
To say you love someone isn't enough
Anyone can tell you they love you
But to love someone who cares
For you regardless
Of your imperfections
Is not a selfish act

When it comes from their heart
And they mean every word they say
Is meaningful

The most painful experience
About loving someone
Is to admit your hurting
And the only way to heal the hurt inside
Is to forgive, unclip its wings and fly

I am grateful to have been touched by love
To feel loved by someone close
To share love in my life with family
To experience what love meant as friends
Because I found that love is liberating
And being thankful to have loved within
