Powerful perspective on prayer. Well done my friend!

Prayer is essentially conversing with God and prayer always changes us. Ego has nothing of God in it and Self is what ego contains. Nothing that the ego does can ever connect to God even if it kneels in prayer because it is itself, focused on Self. Romans 12: 1-2 says I urge you, therefore, in view of God's Mercy, to offer your bodies as pleasing sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world but be transformed in the renewing of your minds\. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will. God's will is found in His Word- the Bible. If we pray according to that will, He answers in His time and way. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matthew 21: 22)

I see the many side of ideas, here is mine. Most people prays, begs God for something. Give me give me, When I pray, I give thanks for what I have and I know God will give me anyway what I need if I need something more. I am grateful and He is wonderful to me.

I love this poem. It says that praying because we have to and staying firm on how to worship is self-destructing. It only upsets others and God himself. This is so beautiful.

Only God can affect us. But the ego prayer is still thinking: If I please God now, make the sacrifice and say the prayers I have memorised, I will get my rewards later, liked these lines very much. really nice poem Sir :)

firstly, God is so great that life is too cheap to sacrifice for him....well expressed here. secondly.you have reached a splendid level of thinking...i think you're muslim right? ..you can't reach this level except after reading the koran and believing in it..you reached the reason why god asked us to pray..a soul pray indeed...it let's us feel how poor wrongdoers we are..and that helps us to emphasize on doing good and avoiding sins..so you reached the reason why we pray, then you will believe in God truly and that's why God asked us to think and 'READ in the name of God who created the man from a dropp of blood'...keep thinking because wisdom and believing in God is built by thinking....and keep writing those beautiful things thanks for sharing

We are capitalis and uphold profit-aiming action. we never do something without expectation of profit gain and prospect of benefit; we are so used to be self-centered among human, therefore we want to walk on the same path towards GOD. May be this is the time to be more sincere, honest and humble because GOD expect nothing frm us. Human shoud'nt be more arrogant, boast or ego because all those behaviour will takes them nowhere and they are nothing before God.We can't show-off about anything before GOD because the Ultimate Jurisdictions is HIS, not us. At times we need to sacrifically give back to God, and come out of the Bless Me, brigade. Meekness and humbleness before Him is a key. True prayer is intiamacy between one and God, here there should be no ego. Very interesting write.; D
