Sacrifice Of Pet Goat
I belong to community and
Culture where animals are
Sacrificed to please
The Almighty God and Godess
Our family decided to celebrate
A festival, sacrificing a pet goat
That we had adopted
For more than ten years.
As it is creating a lot of trouble to
Neighbours, rushing here and there.
We carried it to temple.
Pet goat perceived shadow of death.
Accompanied by a spirit of evil.
Agony of goat's cry
When it is prepared for slaughter
Impossible to make me describe
Fear of Indomitable death.
The pain I felt made me
Deaf, dumb and blind for a while.
What the hell, we have did!
Now it is over, just a sense of repentance.
In the name of pleasing Almighty
We feed us and enjoy the flesh of
Innocent animals like pet goats
Your are responsible for
what you have done.
The reason you advocate for your feast
Can't be justified in
House of Judgement of God.
Distortion of humanity and
Brotherhood of mankind
Will one day, destroy the whole world.
If love and compassion are not restored.
