A very deep poem, Elena. Is it meant as a type of sarcasm, criticism, on the far right of the world? Once our heart is bleeding, no matter how much we made them smile, they will let us die, but first they will make portrait, think of all the good we could have done for them from here on-wards, and then take their souvenir. I was searching for a more symbolic meaning in the poem (did the clown stand for something vicious?) . I thought for awhile it was about non-attachment but then the souvenir goes against that. Definitely a deep and thought provoking poem, well written. I just had a bit of a tough time interpreting the meaning in connection with your brilliant and super-friendly personality
