Silently millions of music lovers with profound grief
Paid their last respects to the legend singer SPB;
Believe it, a period of five decades is an amazing time for
A singer to stay actively with fame in multiple fields;
Long and outstanding career of Balu testifies to that,
Although he was not trained in Carnatic music;
Solo songs or duets, his singing style is
Unique to make them dulcet to the ears;
Being the singing moon(Paadum Nila) he
Rendered forty thousand plus songs in sixteen languages,
Achieving national award for six times,
Honours like Doctorate, Padma Bhushan
Many states' awards and few honorofics;
A good human being, he always supported the talented youngsters,
Numerous live and reality shows were enriched by his friendly presence;
Yesteryear stars and today's acted to his mellifluous voice;
Also an actor, composer, he voiced over to some famous actors, too.
Music asks him: "Tere mere beech mein kaisa hai ye bandhan anjana..."
