With patriotism the Ukrainians wanted to be free,
where about a Freedom convoy Putin lied.

Out in Bucha a convoy of VDV airborne
consisting of many armored cars and tanks
were wiped out and their relatives mourn,
while there is decent in the Russian ranks.

Paratroopers in two transport airplanes
from Belarus where shot down out of the sky.
Near Kyiv in a bloody battle against the Ukraine's
anti-aircraft defenses more Russians did die.

The airborne heli-borne at Anyonov airbase
did attacks from Ukrainian Mig-29 fighters face.

The assault ended in a catastrophe
as seven of the helicopters were shot down,
as the rapid response force came from a town
and the planned para-jump would never be.

For the 45th Spetsnaz the Russians did flee,
while the world do at Russian war-crimes frown.
It seems that Putin do with lives around clown:
a nuclear power plant was in jeopardy.

Troops of the 98th VDV airborne at Chernobyl
and 3rd GRU Spetsnaz were hospitalized
