Running To Help Broken Desperate People Poem by Terence George Craddock

Running To Help Broken Desperate People

for some entertainment
can be as close as boundary
dividing line a neighbour's

fence separating involvement
ignored no action taken
no responsibility taken

it is easy to sit on the fence
watch view desperate people
make desperate decisions

when lacking empathy compassion
when lacking an inclination to help
when lacking courage determination to help

some have few or no choices
desperate people in desperate
circumstances make desperate decisions

who will care aid come to their defence
helpless most desperate in need broken hearted
who will care aid comfort heed their need pleas

indifferent casual observation of their need will not help
mere praying for their plight is not action compassion help
run help utterly broken desperate with few or no choices
