Running Desire Poem by jackilton peachum

Running Desire

RUNNING DESIRE

Clouds in the running time
follow the wind
and the rain follows.

People follow
sheep in the running time
and the wolf follows.

A basket grabbed
is not always food
an embrace is not always love.

Sorrow follows
desire in the running time--
and sadness follows.
