Running Back From School Poem by james watkin

Running Back From School

Rating: 5.0

To start me home, to set my legs
To gyrate at speed
Down from the sky, that runs 'fore him
I snatched a wind's heed.

His was a shove, gave me insights
Into frenzies caught
Off hill-tops, by clouds of all kinds.
Leaf, more undistraught!

Cushioning my continual fall
In this headlong pose
Relief, of my own exhaling.
Reprieve, when arose.
