Is not our life a wave of energy coursing through us
Just like a flickering flame or a fleeting gleam
Which when stopped, like a weed scorched by the sun

Yes, Valsa George life is a spot between cradle and grave. Great. Thank you
Thanks for a wonderful poem with a great message. The life might appear to be a mundane journey through the ups and downs but it ends in an eternal peace. It traverses- Between our infant cradle and our grave / Where we struggle to secure our place. But we live on, never in despair but in hope
Profundity of your thoughts oozes from every line of the poem.Enjoyed reading it particularly the last two stanza where your ruminations culminate.
Though we have not succeeded to peer though the curtains of death yet the wisdom of the seers tell us that death is not the be all and the end all of everything. So death may be just a jester in the saga of our soul.
Profound ruminations of a philosophical min. Great, Valsa-ji! (10)
Life is a candle in the wind and hope is God's hand shielding it. Your 'Ruminations On Life' is a masterpiece that I shall remember today and everyday for the rest of my life. Thank You
Life is all what you have written so precisely. This is realistic. But the end of it all Life is Hope itself. But we live on, never in despair but in hope
Life is a culmination of many things easy and hard. A combination of all is nicely captured in the beautiful poem. Thank you.
Through us an encouraging energy which flows us to give courage to sustain in this Earth is a flickering flame and yes this a very nice wave within us. Mortal life full of struggle but real life of this energy is eternal which we feel on self realization. To harbor our souls we need to rise like sun. Beautiful message transferred. Excellent work.
But we live on, never in despair but in hope That beyond this mortal life and its struggles Somewhere for us, eternity’s dim portals await To harbor our souls that from deep slumber shall rise! Peace at the time of death has more worth than silver, gold and other wealth, and this can only obtained with a belief that there is an immortal life after death. A thoughtful write........................10
yes Mam..so true...Hope keeps us going...a brilliant write as always. Loved the below lines: - Is not our life a little space lying somewhere Between our infant cradle and our grave Where we struggle to secure our place To be ousted soon by those who come after us
Life is just like, just like a flickering flame or a fleeting gleam and we perceive this with many natural happenings. We wave the mark of our action in nature like the footprints left on sandy shore. We live on hopes and harboring soul we gradually grow with power and dignity. An interesting poem is beautifully penned.10
