Rue Crescent Poem by Rue Palmer

Rue Crescent

Rue Crescent

On Rues Crescent, shadows dance, Whispered stories, given chance, Mongoose paths, dog tales, Where time lingers, never pales.Lizard flicker, soft and low, Guiding footsteps, cats aglow, Whispers of the past unfold, Mysteries, secrets, stories told.Windows framed with ivy's touch, Silent echoes mean so much, Laughter, sorrow, joy, and pain, All converge in evening's rain.Midnight chimes, the moon's embrace, Casting dreams on every face, In Rues Crescent, life's a song, Humming softly all night long.Memories in corners hide, Mongoose, cat, dog and lizard On this street where worlds collide, In each step, a tale retold, Rues Crescent, where hearts unfold.
On Rues Crescent, shadows dance,
Whispered stories, given chance,
Mongoose paths, dog tales,
Where time lingers, never pales.
Lizard flicker, soft and low,
Guiding footsteps, cats aglow,
Whispers of the past unfold,
Mysteries, secrets, stories told.
Windows framed with ivy's touch,
Silent echoes mean so much,
Laughter, sorrow, joy, and pain,
All converge in evening's rain.
Midnight chimes, the moon's embrace,
Casting dreams on every face,
In Rues Crescent, life's a song,
Humming softly all night long.
Memories in corners hide,
Mongoose, cat, dog and lizard
On this street where worlds collide,
In each step, a tale retold,
Rues Crescent, where hearts unfold.
