LXVI
Away from thy radiance my being is all darkness
With a soul straining inside for a ray of brightness,
Like the drowning struggles to rise to the surface
For a puff of fresh air that slakes suffocation
Lxvii
t's your grace that I see as beauty in every bloom
Devoid of your glare moonlit starry nights gloom
The shining heavenly bodies stall stark sullen
The glowing sun will sink deep into Stygian
Lxviii
Seeds we sow, fertilised by thoughts, words and deeds,
Grow up in time's wilderness as giant trees bearing fruits
In colourful abundance but in unpleasant pungent taste
It's our err sowing sin and craving for a reap all sweet
Lxix
I am glad my lord, the bowl I hold before thee for alms
You fill with gifts of golden glories to the brim all times
My mundane greed blames me harshly from deep inside
Why don't yehold bigger bowls to get more and stride
Lxx
Guide me God to the lamp that burns throughout
Sparing not a moment to steal the pleasure of darkness,
The lamp, the flames of which are with vibrant calories
Capable of keeping me warm in freezing winters of life.
Away from thy radiance my being is all darkness With a soul straining inside for a ray of brightness, Like the drowning struggles to rise to the surface For a puff of fresh air that slakes suffocation To be brief.........Beautiful and lovely! Every line and every thought is sublime! Full marks

I would like to translate this poem
These are beautiful poems in quatrains. I have not read the earlier poems in this series called Rudrakha. Is it translation of some verses?
I am sorry Pathakji; somehow your comments escaped my notice. I am thankful to you for reading my poems. About the poem I may say that it is based on a pure idea struck me and began to flow as a fresh Ganges right from my thoughts. It's not at all a translation, but fresh from my heart
