Rose Petals Ephemeral Wind Whisper On Water Poem by Terence George Craddock

Rose Petals Ephemeral Wind Whisper On Water

rose petals in bright yellow soft pink hues litter water
pulled off rose petals by torn petal by child or a lover
rose petals could have been collected piled in baskets

fragile lip turned soft rose petals
could have been circle spiral arranged
on time white paved title floors

fragile lip turned soft red rose petals
could have lined pathway white chairs
arranged aisle petal streams white weddings

beautiful contrasting imagery petals
pathways dance echoes where fairies
footprints in moonlight shadows dances

rose petals in bright yellow soft pink hues litter water
pulled off rose petals by torn petal by child or a lover
rose petals could have been collected piled in baskets
