Romeo? And Juliet In The Time Of Coronavirus Poem by Alan Sandham

Romeo? And Juliet In The Time Of Coronavirus

Romeo? Romeo? Art thou Romeo?
With that mask I cannot tell;
If you are not my Romeo
Pray, sir, your passions quell.

Romeo? Romeo? Are you Romeo?
In my mask I cannot smell
Your distinctly horsey odour,
For which, I'm sure you know, I fell.

Romeo? Romeo? If you're not my Romeo
This adventure may not end well,
But this social isolation
Gives a girl another shell.

Romeo? Romeo? If you are my Romeo?
We're in the midst of a viral imbroglio,
And Will can write another Folio
On this coronavirus hell.
