it is a beautiful write, but romance will never die, because it's there for you and i. your poem is very deep and it opens up the mind, and gets me to wonder if it's one of a kind, that you happened to put in rhyme. my version: romance is dead, with a bullet in its head it fell to the ground without making a sound.(for when love dies, there is no sound) from noone came to the funeral to: in careless abandonement. (you lost the rhyme) sometimes i reread my poems and try to look at it through another readers eyes and then i tend to find my mistakes. and i also have LINDA WINCHELL who tweaks my poems on its mistakes. you do have a very good train of thought on writing, and i also like to read the poems by FRANCIS DUGGAN from australia who already has over or close to 8000 poems on line. i'm going to read the others now.
