Roaring waves

Days ago, wrote poem,
Talked about Britain.

One comment was great:
"Sir, I am one of the,
British, you mentioned! "

Politely sought pardon:
"I was born long after,
Cannot see it your way,
So, oppose and reject! "

I replied in simple:
"To my colleague poet,
Tree was planted,
Its fruit we harvest,
African was Nigger,
Indigenous a savage! "

Then went on, explained:
"These insults broke them,
Shattered them, divided,
Those in need accepted,
And lived life of slave,
In pens of your parents! "

She, British poet,
Wants to say:
"It was then…"

I tell her: "No, friend!

Yes, husks were stolen,
Buried in mass graves!

She must picture painting,
With Sun, Earth evolving,
And the ships in sailing,
On blood in the seas,
At cliffs waves roaring,
Butchered are uprisings!

The comment of today
Is meanness, ignorance…
